Home Treatment (Croydon) care for people, aged 18-65, who have severe mental illness, who would benefit from assessment and treatment at home as an alternative to hospital. The Home Treatment Team provide care for people who live in the London Borough of Croydon.

The aim of the service is to provide short-term treatment for people who are having a mental health crisis. Wherever possible, they avoid the need for hospital admission.

Their service brings together different health and social care teams, including nursing, social work and psychiatry. They also work closely with patients, their carers, GP, local day care centre and housing provider as required.
